Open enrollment '24

Why is open enrollment important?

Open enrollment is a crucial period because it’s the only time of year when individuals, families, and businesses can make changes to their health insurance plans or enroll in new coverage without special circumstances. It’s an opportunity to assess your current plan, explore new options, and ensure you’re getting the best benefits for your health needs and budget. Missing this window can limit your ability to update coverage, potentially leaving you without adequate protection for the year ahead. Taking advantage of open enrollment ensures you have the right coverage in place for peace of mind.
Start/end dates
Open Enrollement begins November 1st of 2024 and typically ends in mid January.
Public vs private
Public Marketplace plans (Obamacare) are income based, while private plans are health based.
Qualifying life events
Qualifying Life Events, otherwise known as QLEs, are not required during Open Enrollment.
Consulting
We always recommend consulting with a broker before selecting a plan, so you can view all of your avaliable options.
